Women’s Pro Category field revealed for inaugural Nedbank Gravel Burn

The professional women’s field for Gravel Burn has just been confirmed. A diverse and international roster of riders from across many cycling disciplines will line up in Knysna on 26 October for the start of the inaugural race. Over seven days and 800 kilometres, they will race solo across South Africa’s Western and Eastern Cape before the journey culminates at Shamwari Private Game Reserve on 1 November.

The men’s professional field for the inaugural Nedbank Gravel Burn has been recently announced. It is a gathering drawn from road, gravel and mountain biking in equal measure, with riders from many disciplines stepping across to test themselves in this relatively new format – gravel stage racing. Edition one of the race looks to be a melting pot for the sport’s most diverse and now converging talents. Each brings their own superpowers to the campaign.
